Andree Sanders is the President of TFKMNY
Andree has led TRIPS FOR KIDS Metro NY since 2006, working with urban youth, teaching life lessons through mountain biking. As director she has expanded the types of programs TFKMNY offers to include community events and a NICA race team. She has taught over 1000 kids to ride off road and is now a certified NICA coach. Nicknamed the "bike whisperer", Andree Sanders has helped hundreds learn to ride and is a League Certified Instructor through the League of American Bicyclists. Peter Walsh is the Vice President of TFKMNY
He serves on the Board of Directors for Trips For Kids Metro New York, a not-for-profit organization that exposes children to the outdoors by taking them on mountain bike trips. Peter joined Seatuck as the Education Director in the Spring of 2007. Prior to coming on board he worked for Western Suffolk BOCES, where he ran the Outdoor Learning Lab at Sunken Meadow State Park for the past seven years. Peter also spent many years working as a naturalist for Nassau BOCES outdoor education department. Peter lives in East Islip with his wife and three children. Eugene has been engaged in outdoor activities for 40 years and became an avid mountain biker 20 years ago. For the past 10 years he has shared his passion for the great outdoors with kids. In 2003, he became a volunteer with Trips for Kids Metro NY. During the 10+ years he has been involved with TFK he has helped teach over 1,000 children to Mountain Bike. Professionally, Eugene works at Bloomberg, LP where he oversees the product management of the charts and graphics on the Bloomberg terminal for financial market participants. |
